Ajiaco with chicken:
In Colombia soups are sacred. Most dishes are accompanied by their respective sopita. And speaking of representative soups, the ajiaco con pollo takes the popularity award. This is the search especially in the central Andean area of the country, in Bogotá and the surrounding area. Its main ingredients are chicken, creole potato or yellow potato, corn cob and arracacha.

If you visit Bogotá, you will find in the neighborhood of La Candelaria several restaurants specializing in this dish. I came down from Monserrate and the cold seemed like an ajiaco with chicken, which in general was served with white rice and avocado.
Arepa
The arepa is part of the basic and traditional foods of Colombian cuisine. The main ingredient is corn in different varieties, origins of the region where they consume it. For example, in the department of Antioquia, white corn and the Santander region of yellow corn are generally made. It is a very versatile product in the kitchen, therefore do not miss finding dozens of types of arepas. I personally love stuffed cheese for breakfast. I could not stand it and I hit them a nibble 🙂.

Tamales with ground (wrapped)
You have already forgotten that in Colombia the products arrive fresh at the door of the house. It was Sunday and someone was screaming in the street: Tamalessss !!! Hot taamalesss !! Sundays as a family are Sundays of tamales. Enough to open the door and shout to the lord of the tamales to confirm the purchase. Wrapped in banana leaf and corn base, legumes and meats; Its preparation can take several hours. That is why street vendors of tamales proliferate in Colombia. In general, they are consumed at breakfast, but they are sure to find other times of the day.

- 18% a accidente cerebrovascular
- 27% a cardiopatía isquémica
- 20% a neumopatía obstructiva crónica, y
